Abstract

Language has been a historical phenomenon in every human civilization. Language has become a widespread object of research. Reading is one of language skill whis is remains the primary means by which educated people gain information, it is difficult to imagine a college course without reading assignments. Reading is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols in order to construct or derive meaning (reading comprehension). It is a means of language acquisition, of communication, and of sharing information and ideas. Like all languages, it is a complex interaction between the text and the reader which is shaped by the reader’s prior knowledge, experiences, attitude, and language community which is culturally and socially situated. The reading process requires continuous practice, development, and refinement. There are many ways to mastering reading material like using the computer as a modern people. Computer really helps the teacher in process of study. Computer has a positive effect in reaching the aim of teaching. Key words: language, reading and computer.

Abstract

Arabic language has special features and specifications through others language in this world. Firstly, there are the largest number of arabic vocabullaries. Secondly, a word / a vocabullary could be some meanings or many different meaning while it put to the different sentences. Thirdly, Arabic is a phonetic languange, which means letters corresond to sounds. While this is true of many languages to a certain extent, Arabic is unique in that there aren’t groupof letters creating completly unguessable sound. This means anyone who knows the arabic letters, the sounds they make and the short vowel marking can “sound out” every word. Many other language, in contrast, has many spellings that do not correspond to individual letter sounds, as in the word rough. For this reason, arabic spelling might be considered easier than that many languages, including Indonesian and English.

Abstract

This researche discuss about Arabic teaching using SWISHmax Computer Program specifically on speaking skill. Because conversational skill is one of the most important language skills in mastering a language. In addition, teaching this above mentioned skill also means teaching how to communicate the underlying activities and convey messages to others. Furthermore, this condition led to the emphasis of teaching speaking during the second world war since soldiers needed to get accurate information for control of the battlefield in an occupied site. As a result, they tried to invent a method of teaching second language with a variety of interesting teaching media to master the language quickly. Based on the experience of second-language instruction, then the media have made the second-language teaching in various countries around the world, including the Arabic language become the official language of religion and the internationally used language at the United Nations. Nonetheless, in Arabic teaching there are still many students can’t master it well, specifically on mastering speaking skill at the elementary level. This lack speaking skill is caused by the medium teaching used by the teacher is not effective. Therefore, the researcher tries to solve that problem by making the media which is more interesting and fun, that is SWISHmax Computer Program. Abstract

Among the language skills, writing is the highest skill of the four language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), where the learning process with multiple levels that can be started from dictation to composition. Composition is the last level of writing and the most difficult stages in language learning. In it, students need to exert all his energy, physical as well as his thoughts, because composition is expressing thoughts in writing. Given the difficulty of studying composition, then the media needs to be easier to learn, one of which is the picture of learning, because it is a medium of learning that can lead to appeal to students, it can facilitate students' understanding, to ease of explanation that are abstract, to clarify the important parts, and easier for students to reveal the contents of his thoughts into written form. Abstract

أصبحت اللغة العربية مادة صعبة عند بعض طلاب في المدرسة العالية الإسلامية، رغم أنهم خريج في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية قبل العالية. إن تعليم اللغة العربية في إندونيسيا قد مر بمراحل طويلة شهد خلالها إنجازات وتطورات ملحوظة إلا أنه يتخل فعلا من المشكلات التي يتعرض لها. ومن المشكلات هي تعتبر اللغة العربية مادة صعبة. وأما الأهداف في هذا البحث فهي(١) عرفة مناسبة كتابَي تعليم اللغة العربية طبع "طه فوترى" و "تيغا سرنكاي" بالمنهج التعليمي، (٢) لمعرفة دوافع الطلاب الذين يدرسون كتابي تعليم اللغة العربية طبع "طه فوترى" في مدرسة هداية المبتدئين و "تيغا سرنكاي" في مدرسة ثنائية اللغة العالية الإسلامية مالانج، (٣) لمعرفة صدق المحتوى كتابي تعليم اللغة العربية طبع "طه فوترى" في مدرسة هداية المبتدئين و "تيغا سرنكاي" في مدرسة ثنائية اللغة العالية الإسلامية مالانج. المنهج المستخدم لهذا البحث هو المنهج الوصفي الكمي لأن الباحثة أرادت أن تصف صدق المحتوى الكتابين المذكرتين، وقامت الباحثة بتحليلها وصفيا كميا. ونتائج في هذا البحث هي الأولى: كتاب تعليم اللغة العربية طبع "طه فوترى" صدق بالمنهج التعليمي بالنتيجة ٩٠ وطبع "تيغا سرنكاى" ضعيف الصدق بالنتيجة ٧٠ . الثانية: كانت دوافع الطلاب الذين يدرسون بكتاب تعليم اللغة العربية من طبع "طه فوترى " له رغبة في التعلّم اللغة العربية بالنتيجة ٣٣ ، وهذا وكانت الطلاب الذين يدرسون بكتاب اللغة العربية طبع "تيغا سرنكاي" له نقص رغبة في التعلّم اللغة العربية بالنتيجة ٢٣ ، الثالثة: نتيجة . استبانة من مدرس هداية المبتدئين بكتاب تعليم اللغة العربية طبع "طه فوترى " مناسب بالصدق المحتوى بالنتيجة ٣٩ كما حصلت الباحثة نتيجة استبانة من مدرسة ثنائية اللغة العالية بكتاب تعليم اللغة العربية طبع " تيغا سرنكاي " غير مناسب بالصدق المحتوى بالنتيجة ٢٣.

Abstract

Jika kita berbicara tentang bahasa Arab, maka kita akan mengetahui bahwa bahasa Arab memiliki kelebihan dibandingkan dengan bahasa-bahasa yang lain. Bahasa Arab memiliki struktur kalimat yang sempurna disamping memiliki sistem perubahan kata yang beragam yang tidak dimiliki oleh bahasa-bahasa yang lain. Meskipun bahasa Arab disebut begini; beberapa kosa kata Arab buka dari bahasa Arab asli namun dimbil dari bahasa asing atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah arabisasi. Disamping itu bahasa Arab terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu bahasa Arab klasik Arab, bahasa Arab pasaran dan bahasa Arab kontemporer . Adapun bahasa Arab yang diajarkan pada pelajar Indonesia adalah bahasa arab klasik. Adapun bahasa Arab pasaran dan kontemporer tidak familier dalam pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah kecuali diajarkan di perguruan tinggi. Adapun urgensi dari tulisan ini adalah terkait dengan pengajaran bahasa arab kontemporer karena keberhasilan pengajaran bahasa Arab tergantung pada metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan. Abstract

Penelitian eksprimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas strategi pembelajaran kooperatif pada mahasiswa semester IV Prodi PBA IAIN Sulthan Qaimuddin Kendari dan perbandingannya dengan metode tradisional dalam pembelajaran. Para ahli serta beberapa hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa ada pengaruh positif pembelajaran kooperatif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian di pilih secara tandom dari 78 mahasiswa semester IV Prodi PBA. Peneliti mendesain instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data dan melakukan pengukuran. Dari hasil analisis terdapat perbedaan mendasar kemampuan membaca antara metodi tradisional dan pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini memberikan beberapa kesimpulan dan saran bahwa strategi pembelajaran kooperatif merupakan strategi efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Dengan demikian agar diadakan workshop-workshop bagi guru bahasa Arab untuk melatih mereka menggunakan strategi ini. Terkait dengan kurikulum bahasa Arab agar dimasukan kegiatan kelas yang memungkinkan mahasiswa dapat berinteraksi satu sama lain dan memperoleh berbagai keterampilan bahasa Arab. Abstract

There are several factors that can affect the success of an educator in teaching foreign languages, including the neighborhood where he lived, the learning environment, communication between students and teachers as well as the use of the mother tongue. Other factors that influence the success of learning a second language is contained in an educator, which includes age, preparation in teaching, learning capabilities and methods or media used in the learning process. And as good as the ability of a teacher without being followed by the methods and media are better then the learning process will not succeed. And so are, as well as any methods and media used, without any capacity of educators and mature age, then learning will not be successful. Besides these factors, the factors which come from inside a student also very influential, such as the level of intelligence and a willingness is there. Therefore if you want to study a foreign language or second language can be successful, then all the factors should support well. Key word: Factors, learning, foreign language.
